Our Synod
We are part of a larger church body called the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS). It is called the Wisconsin Synod because its founders began their work in Wisconsin in 1850. Today, however, WELS churches and schools are found in all fifty states and in missions around the world. Find a WELS ministry location.
